We are one week away from the 2021 SSAWW conference. If you’re attending, you’ve received several messages from Whova this week with reminders and unique links to update your profile and upload materials to your session.
We have a few more reminders and announcements for the week:
- Open Dinner at Little Havana on Thursday, November 5th. We have reserved a private room at the Cuban restaurant Little Havana (1/2-mile walk from the Royal Sonesta) and are inviting people to attend in shifts to safely accommodate as many people as possible. We can accommodate up to sixty guests in each time slot. The room is open to an outdoor patio area with heaters. Attendees are responsible for their own bills and can select from a curated menu. You can reserve your spot at this link: SIGN-UP HERE
- SIGN-UP HERE for a guided walking tour on Friday afternoon of Baltimore’s Federal Hill Beyond the Views (Space is limited, and it will depart from the hotel).
- If you are planning to participate in a virtual or hybrid session as a presenter or attendee, you will receive an email from Whova tomorrow (Friday) afternoon inviting you to join one of our upcoming Rehearsal Sessions in Whova. These are a wonderful chance to try out the technology and see how Zoom links work alongside the Whova app. Please do your best to join one of the sessions.
- Reminder, if you are chairing a virtual or hybrid session and will be uploading a Zoom link for the session, these links must be uploaded by November 1st. You received an email from Whova on Wednesday 10/27 with the subject line “[Your Name], it’s time to upload your bio and session info for #SSAWW2021” that contains instructions and a tutorial on how to upload Zoom links and other materials to your virtual or hybrid session.
