Dear SSAWW friends,

Please consider submitting a proposal for the Society for the Study of American Women Writers panel at the Biennial Conference of the Society of Early Americanists (SEA), which will be held at the University of Notre Dame on June 5-8, 2025.

Proposals are welcome on any aspect of women’s cultural productions (broadly conceived) in the Americas before 1830.

By October 25, please send to me (meyring@byu.edu) your:

· abstract (250-300 words)

· institutional affiliation and contact info

· brief biographical statement (no more than 60 words)

Details on the conference are available at https://www.societyofearlyamericanists.org/conferences/sea-2025-biennial. You do not need to be a current member of SEA to submit a proposal, but panelists will be required to join the society before the conference.

Sincerely,

SEA-SSAWW Liaison
