The English Department at NDSU Invites Applications for Assistant Professor of American Literature

The English department at North Dakota State University seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in American literature to 1865, beginning January 2016. We seek a colleague with teaching/research expertise from the earliest period of contact and exploration through the antebellum period; expertise in Transatlantic and/or Hemispheric American studies is especially welcome. The successful candidate will join a vibrant department offering BA, BS, MA, and PhD degrees in a supportive, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for faculty and students at all levels.
